Dension Ipod Link Fitted - Interference Help Please!

Featured Replies

Have done a search but cant find anything specific...

Ipod link fitted and generally very pleased. Feeling pretty pleased with myself after successfully fitting a subwoofer too - not bad for my first attempt at an ICE install!

But:

I'm getting what seems like alternator whine and general interference when the volume is cranked up a bit during more quiet parts of tracks. Only happens when using the ipod and not the CD/radio function, so it has to be the ICE link.

All fitted correctly and I have securely earthed to one of the large metal brackets behind the dasboard.

Any ideas? Poor earth? Some kind of suppressor needed?

TIA. :)

I have fitted mine and have the same problem.

I've been given one from a guy who had it fitted in his Audi A4. Trouble was he had a 30gb 4th gen and the craddle would fit my 80gb 5th gen. I've stripped the craddle apart and I'm just using the bit that fits into the iPod.

Did you resolve this issue or does anyone else have an idea?
