yep and to be honest wasn't all that impressed sounded well but felt slower than my chipped vrs and understeered like a B**ch prefered the golf gti to be honest

Ive been in a pursuit vectra which is the same as a vxr but a basic spec version. Same engine, same suspension, same brakes. I love them very much, much faster than my old octavia vrs. Personally I wouldnt have one because theyre FWD.

I've driven the Astra vxr and it was absolutely brilliant - there's not a VAG car (except perhaps a Veyron) that comes close for driving fun With more power I can't see the Vectra being a bad car.

Ignore the magazines and ignore the critics, both have agendas - get to a dealer and make your own mind up

Fair call I'd rather have an RS4 but I was meaning around a similar budget!

The Golf GTi is IMHO nowhere near as enjoyable to drive as the VXR.
