hi i have been looking at buying a set of infinity reference 17cm components for the front of my octy but they come with cross over boxes ,question is where do i put the buggers !!!

well i've got infinity reference 6010cs components in my octy vrs and the left one goes behind and just above the glove box(you'll see a recess there) and the right hand one i tucked up behind the dash which you can access by removing the trim panel above the pedals (remove panel and put it above and towards you)

cheers mate !!! how did you run the wiring from them to the door's and did the tweeters fit in ok

I ran the wiring through the bellows between the doors and car, you will have to remove your door trim and then feed the wires from the bellows down to the woofer and up to the tweeter-i think i had to peel back the membrane to do this. Also make sure the wires are out of the way of the window regulator going up and down.Once this is done you have to feed it in a very tight area above the pedals on rh side, the lh side is much easier behind the glovebox.

The tweeters in the 6010cs fit perfectly in the original vrs tweeter pods and mine are held in without anything else, you may want to fix them in maybe with hot glue or something.

The woofers need the metal spacer bracket included to give the clearance needed and are much easier to fit when your door cards are off. They are nicely hidden behind the original grilles.

My infinity crossovers ended up in the door pockets.... There simply was nowhere big enough to stash them!
