fabia gear nob

i want to change the gear nob on my 2003 fabia 1.9 tdi for a more stylish one.

does anyone know if it comes off easily and can the surround apron be easily reattached.

Well - a bit late but I switched to the "Golfball" style off a New Beetle GT and I think it looks great. The only problem was reconnecting the gaiter to the Skoda bottom clip that holds it in place. I used a desk stapler - been there for over a year... looks and works great. - Steve

yeah only 3 years mate...

so how do u remove a gearknob from the fabia and put a new one on?
