just gave my insurance to the dealer for my 04 octavia vrs

whats the cheapest anybody has got for a vrs

It depends on a lot of things , like , age , area , NCD , points , chipped or standard .............best bet is to do a search on insurance as this has been discussed at length on a few occasions .

Liverpool Victoria seem favourites at the moment, you need to call them though cause the quick quote online is apparently very inaccurate !

Tesco's online seem reasonable to.

Car Insurance? I just had my car insurance last month at Insurance-Quote-Free and it satisfies me. Why don't you visit and try their offered services.

If the car is un-mod'ed and you've got more than 4 years NCD then worth giving Privilege.com a try. I've found them approx

Factory fitted electric towbar is not releasing after a long time not using

Hi Everyone, I have a Factory fitted electric Tow bar. Last time I use, it was 5 years ago I believe. I tried to use it Today no chance not releasing. It has a green light always but whenever I pull it out light changes to red blinking and tow bar is not releasing. I used some wd-40 and rust cleaner but still result didn't' change. I also tried to pull out the tow bar with bare hand or hit the mechanism with a wood or hammer(kindly), still no chance. Anyone faced the same issue?

Airbag error, what can reset it?

During my hardwire dash cam install, I removed the trim which holds the passenger airbag switch and unplugged it. Now (unsurprisingly) I have an airbag error on the dash. I’ve cycled the ignition a few times in hopes that would reset it, I also tried enabling and disabling the airbag with the key, still no joy. Is this something I can reset at home? I’m hoping something like ODBeleven free plan can do it, but it’s difficult finding out what the free plan can actually do.

History is that since the coilovers were done, the front-left top mount has aways creaked on turning; classic top mount sound of juddering movement. I've tried rotating the spring a little in case that's a difference but I need to do try some more just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. In the meantime, the front right has developed a creak which is different. It's a heavier creaky rubber feel to it which is triggered on minor movement/weight shift. Going over speedbumps obviously makes
