MP3 Player with FM transmitter

Featured Replies

What's the sound quality like?

I'm thinking of buying a Sandisk Sansa 8GB MP3 player and a Belkin Tunecast.

The 6 disc autochanger just isn't enough.

The quality depends on the unit you buy and the frequency used. not used the belking tunecast personally, but I've found ones that I have used either pathetic very good but the frequency interferred with other stations and caused static, or something in between. up in Nottingham you may not have as much of a problem with pirate stations as down in London so you may have more luck.

Also remember that it is still illegal to use FM broadcasting equipment (which these are), but I don't know of anyone who has been pullled up over it so I would not worry.

Keep up with the times Jeff :D

FM transmitters are now legal  That's why everyone is now selling them.;)

I use one with a PSP, it will take a bit of fiddling to find a stable frequency, but the quality is quite good.

I have found start at either the top or bottom of the frequency range on the belkin, and work in towards the middle, you wont go very far before you find a suitable frequency. ( I have found 88.1 is fine )

YES they are now legal, became so just after new year.
