Hi Guys,

I just bought he new octava and it has the Audience MP3 Player with the AUX in jack. I found a lead for and put one side in the headphones jack and the other side on the Aux in but I cannot hear anything. The AUX In is on in the Audience system. Can you tell me ehat is wrong and what can I do to rectify it.

My Mk2 Octy vRS has an aux in socket, so I bought an ipod to use in the the car as well as at my work and experienced a similar problem. I set the aux level to level 3 in the menu. After this I still couldn't hear much and it suddenly dawned on me to turn the volume up on the ipod. And it worked. Get in. No more need for cd's. I now play the ipod with it's volume on max, meaning it is a similar volume level to the radio. Hope this is of use to you.

DO I need to emty all the CD's 1st or by just switching on the AUX In the CD changed is disabled and the iPOD start to work.

You have to press the CD button a few times to get it to change to the AUX setting.

I was told by the dealer it would play as soon as i connected my ipod in! So wrong!
