superb CONTROL ARM/trackrod end kit?

Featured Replies

Hi I have a Skoda superb 1.9 tdi 2003 the chassis number is TMBCU63U739038571

I was wondering if this kit would be compatible with my car. I have emailed the seller and he says as long as my superb is a (3U4)? Then it would fit. I have asked my local Skoda dealer and he says he has never heard of (3U4)?

Can anyone tell me what (3U4) means?

Looking at your chassis number your Superb is a 3U chassis.

The sales type of your car is 3U4234

I would be very careful fitting parts of unknown origin in such a safety critical area. The bits from GSF cost more but are from reputable (and in many cases OE) suppliers such as Lemforder (ZF Trading).

Fitting this lot is quite a job - I wouldn't compromise on parts quality. Hope all of the pinch bolts are free.

Well you`d think so, however i bought a set of upper control arms from GSF six weeks ago and the rubber around the ball joint is split already.

Cheers stu, hey can I ask how you worked that out from my chassis number? I can see 3U739 in the chassis number?

No worries if it
