I have just been trying to play GT Legends on my pc, but im having problems with the display. Once the game starts, the screen turns off to reset to the games resolution, switches back on to the game full screen for about a second before returning to the desktop.

After havin a little fiddle but not really knowing what to do, it tried, quake3, castle wolfenstin and call of duty, these all worked fine.

I then tried C&C Generals, this has the same issue as GTL. Anyone any ideas why this is happening, and what i have to do to recify it?

Try updating your Graphics drivers, thats usually the cause of this type of problem. You should be abe to find updated drivers at the graphics card manufactureres website.
