I'm about to use this company for an aircon service, as they come recommended. I notice on their website that they do discount compressors:

I was told (and shown the two models) that the Golf and Octy had different compressors when mine went so i would advise checking that it is the correct part before placing an order.

Hmm, fair point.

The data sheet on the website shows the OEM part numbers, do I suppose this could be checked?

1J0820805 may be the part number, It's the only one I can find on my disk.
