Im getting a company car octavia 1.9 tdi classic 07 reg. Iv been told its the A4 model.

I know its a 07 plate coz i seen some insurance papers to it but i dont know if it is the A4 model or A5. Are A4 models still at production on 07 plate? looking at veriouse sites i thought A5 models started from 06 and A4 models ended in 2006?

im totaly lost. can someone help me, and tell me whats the difference between A4 and A5. some pics will help too if its dif shape in body.

The A4, known as the Octavia Tour, is still in production and very big in India (apparently!), and is still used by some taxi companies, cos its cheaper and reliable.

The A4 version (older Octavia) is made in India known as the Octavia

The A5 is also available and called a Skoda Laura - very limited engine and trim choices.
