Anyone with LV added a second car to the policy?

I've got my Saab sponsored by LV, but thinking about looking for either a Rapid or Estelle as a plaything.

Now taking out a second policy would be a killer as i wouldn't have an NCB on it, but just wondered if they would insure a second car (maybe even limited mileage) as a second car on the same policy. I know they were flexible on mods, just wonder if anyone else had done anything similar.

The car would be for tweaking and modding, and going along to Skoda owners club meets and trackdays.

When I tried to add a scrappy old fiesta to my policy (while the claim was going through) they told me it was a single vehicle policy and could not insure me without another policy ( for around

Damn, and buggery.

Thats blown my chances of owning an old Skoda for a while, can't afford the new ones, and I don't think I could do without modern toys and a turbo motor on a day to day basis. I know that it is possible to sometimes get temporary cover on a second car (couple of weeks at a time) but If I tried that for the Skoda events I think they might reckon I was taking the **** a bit.
