Is the GAMMA in ym Octavia FURBAR'd

It would appear that all the buttons on my GAMMA HU have stopped working, the only thing that works is the on/off and volume control, not even the tpe eject seems to be working!

I've left it overnight, same thing, even disconnected the battery in an atempt to "reboot" it (thought it maybe just a software problem), still stuck, and worse it's now tuned to classic FM! I didn't much care for Henry Kelly when he was introducing going for gold, it's even worse now he is introducing sub-Radio 3 "popular" classical music!

Anyone had similiar and found a fix or is it due for the great scrap yard in the sky?
