Hi,

Has anyone successfully fitted aftermarket remote kit to their Octavia? My car is a '99 GLXi Petrol hatchback.

I've got a problem insofar as the kit is fitted according to the instructions and all that happens when pressing the button is the indicators flash and the box clicks! I'm thinking that I've done something wrong; If anyone has fitted something similar to their car what would be useful to me is which wires on the car did the 'open' and 'close' wires on the kit fit to? I found the 'open' wire on my car is red/yellow and the 'close' is blue/grey. Both on the connector in the drivers side footwell behind the kickpanel (where the loom from the door connects into the car electrics). and so connected the wires from the kit into these. If you fitted a remote kit o your car where did you make the connections?
