Washer fluid sprays everywhere...

Featured Replies

... often cleaning bystanders and the car behind as much as my windscreen LOL. I noticed this morning a car which seemed to have some blue things about 1" x 6" attached to their wipers. Might these be to keep the spray directed, or would they be for some other purpose?

Sorry if I should have searched, but I wouldn't know what to look for :o

Thanks

Using the windscreen washers is a massive no no when you've just cleaned the car.

The ruddy stuff goes everywhere and lets not even start with the headlight washers!

With my car it's the headlight washers that cause colossal clouds of washer fluid to be deposited on following cars . . . or anything nearby if I'm stationary at the time!

headlight.... washers.... Bucket and sponge mate. :D

headlight washers.. no good wy out wipers attached. imo.

.... complete with little irridescent pink strips (spoilers)? Still haven't heard if anyone thinks they work or not... Logically, I could blow

they aren't there to direct the spray mo they are there to look cool and apparently keep the blade tight on the screen at high speed in stead of lifting as a lot of cars do :)

Can the jets on the Superb be re-aimed? I know it's not readily possible on the Octy A4.
