Air Con bubbling/ gurguling ????

Featured Replies

Has Anyone had any experiance of the air con unit making noise's as described.

It seems to gulg and belch or pop if you get me.

It doesnt seem to have any regularity to it just when it feels like doing it.

I have noticed that putting on recirc mode it stops for a bit (flap problem???)

I've scanned it with vag com a there's no faults showing so i assume it's nothing urgent just annoying when i have paasengers as i can turn the stereo up to drown it out.

Mine makes a bit of a hissing noise when you turn the engine off, but thats totally normal.

Yeah mine does that aswell but this when the engine is running

Mine gurgles sometimes if it's been running for a while and then you pull up at lights, etc. Just a low gurgle though, nothing that could be described as a belch or pop.

It's always done it as far as I can remember.

sounds slightly different to mine it's like a clicking/popping sound

Old Octy did it all the time.

Gurgles from what sounds like behind the glove box area. I think this is just the coolant returning to be re-pumped. I queried it when it went in for an A/C service and they didn't seem to think it was anything abnormal.
