Does anyone know if you can remove the radio on a new octavi without having to removing the silver surround, only reason i ask is because im normally prone to cars with loads of rattles lol

Im really concered about doing this, radios dont normally phase me but this has black blanking pieces covering the screws, how do i get these out without gouging the dash plasic

TBH I think it's easier to get at if you remove the silver trim. I don't think you'll introduce any rattles.

u can do it with out taking out the surround,just takes a bit of messin when i did it for the mother! no noise after , bar from the R/T hahaha

With the surround off, they slide out.
