Few days ago, trying to open the passenger door from the inside, my girlfriend badly cut her finger. Went to medic and he almost put two stitches but later gave up.

Looked on the inner door handle and noticed that chrome cover on it is falling off and has very sharp edge. Then looked on other doors and seen that all handles left scratches on the plastic bellow it, as they rubb on their bottom. But no chrome falling on others, only on front passenger door. So, under warranty, I'll go to see the dealer. Not hapy because they have to strip the door to change the handle, but what can i do?!

Anyone else with same issue?

That's a pretty poor show isn't it. It's bad enough when something goes wrong but when it injures someone quite badly in the process it's just unacceptable. As has already been said it sounds like a very isolated incident as it's unheard of over here.

Make sure the dealer gets both barrels on this one.

had the same on mine but on the front drivers door dealer replaced it under warrantyluckly there was no one hurt noticed this o thecar as soon as i got it but never adtime to take it back till a few week later

Had mine replaced after a small bit of chrome came off after the car was in the dealers.

I would agree it is very sharp when the chrome comes off the plastic.

yep, mine too. the drivers side just a little bit of chrome at the bottom and its sharp. Dealer time

My girlfriend is fine, it doesn't hurt anymore but cut is still on her finger.

But, now I see that some other people also have this problem. I was wondering, if we all check inner hadles in our Octy's, would some find their hanles loosing chrome coverage too.

So, check along the bottom edge of each hadle and let's see if more people find this problem.

PS Girlfriend is not angry .

I think the bottom front edge rubs, so causing the chrome to flake off by the souds of what you are saying.

Have been to dealer today. New handle ordered, changing marked at 12th of June.
