cleaning SWMBO's car on Sunday.....got a few small yellow paint spots on it....car's met black.

What's best to get these off paint work?

If its like fine overspray, and obviously sat on the surface (like a droplet) then try a clay bar. I had some white dots on mine, and tht worked.

If its well stuck on, then it'll have to be a paint cleansing cream or polish job. Start fine, and go more severe as required.
