Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. When my Octy vRS gets to 2500 rpm it makes a buzzing noise from the engine! IT stops at 2600rpm and nothing before 2400rpm! I've noticed no loss in performance at all. It has only started doing it since the serice a month ago. I have ignored it but feel I should really ask if anyone else has the same issue? Could it be the turbo spooling up?

If it's an actual buzz, something is resonating. Turbos tend to be more of a "whoosh" sound.

Thanks. It is more of a resonating noise. I'm used to the turbo and dump valve noise and it doesn't sound like that. Wondering why it happens to coincide with 2500 rpm which happens to be roughly where the turbo kicks in. My simple knowledge of turbos, knows that something in there spins and that may be what is causing the noise. Any thoughts on what though?

Can you tell roughly where its coming from? I had a buzzing noise coming from the n/s/f. It only happened when roughly between 1000 and 2000 rpm, and was especially noticeable when in a higher gear...

Turned out it was an air con pipe or something that was vibrating and just needed tightening up. My dealer fixed under warranty, but unfortunately it has made a slight come back recently.
