Superb leak behind glove box

Featured Replies

I have a water leak behind the glove box of my superb. Seams to have happened since all this heavy rain. The car has climate control and is a 1.8t comfort. Any suggestions?.

Not the right section, hold on i'll move it for you.

And the water is more than likely coming from your pollen filter housing. It will probably need resealing to the body but it may well be worth checking your plenum chamber drains are clear and there arent loads of leaves stuck down the side of the plastic cover below the windscreen.

I cleaned the plenum chamber drain below the battery but can't see the other under servo, can it be got at without removing servo? also are these rubber drains ment to just drip after been cleaned, it would seam better to remove them altogether. I'll have a look at pollen filter housing tomorrow, can I seal it easily myself and is it a big job for an imbosile
