Can anyone help please? I'm having problems with the factory fitted sat nav on my 07 Superb Elegance 2.5.

Firstly, it's come up with the destination of Mobendorf town centre, which I didn't input. It's a small town in Germany near the Czech border and it says it's 705 miles away, but can't give an exact route and only points in the general direction! How can this happen as I only have the GB CD?

Secondly, if I try to enter a new destination, it enters it as the starting point. I may have changed the settings somewhere, but how do I get it back to calculating the route from wherever I am? If I try to enter the starting point as my current location, it won't accept it.

Also, the street option on the destination menu has turned light grey and I can't accees it.

I've taken the disc out and re-installed it to see if this would clear the problem, but it made no difference.

I'm off to Liverpool and Runcorn on Thursday and I would like to be able to use the sat nav for the trip, so I'd be grateful if anyone could help as the dealer is 40 miles away in Cardiff and I can't take the day off to get it sorted before I go away.

Mobendorf is usually the default location that the units are set to when the cars arrive, hmmm.

How many satalites' can you see?

Go into the menu called GPS Viewer and ensure you can see at least 3 satalites minimum, if you can then I would suggest going to the 'Manual Location' and telling the Sat Nav unit where you are by inputing your postcode and street name.

That should then sort the problem out.....

I can see 20 satellites and I'm connected to 8.

I've set in the memory my various destinations in Liverpool and Runcorn over the next three days and I'm ready to go tomorrow!

I think that part of the problem is me, as I'm not very good with some of the modern technology!!!
