Extra Gauges for VRS

Featured Replies

I was wondering whether the vRS has gauges that read for the oil pressure/temp, Turbo boost/Pressure, and whether it would be sensible to fit a turbo timer..

As far as I know, there are no such instruments pre-installed as I have seen in an OctI and a A3 1.8T of one of my mate's.

Mind you temperatures in Greece can get up to 43C (as it is today:eek: ) and stay on the 35-40 C for a great period in summer even in night hours..a thing which is not good for a turbo fitted car.

If anyone has fitted any of these in his vRS and is willing to comment on these along with any suggestions on the make it would be really appreciated.

Cheers to all

I always think turbo timers are a good idea to help look after a turbo, mine is actually part of my clifford alarm, as for gauge pod and holder ive looked about and have found it hard for nice looking vrs pods

awesome gti do one that is listed for a mk 4 gold that sits over the steering column, i beleve its a ecs one, ive looked on the ecs tunning site and again under mk4 golfs they do a single or twin thats sits in this positional

also to help keep intake down id recomend the forge motorsport front mounted intercooler :)
