Coilover problem........HELP!!

Featured Replies

Whilst fitting my coilovers I've noticed that the front anti roll bar link arm is too long.... Do I need to replace these with shorter connecting arms?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks:thumbup:

your either fitting them wrong or they are the wrong ones i'd say. i fitted coil overs to mine no problems.

if your talking about the upright connections that bolt in near the top(think i remember it right) then having one side of the car on the ground whilst you've got the other side lifted will cause the ARB to lift as its like massive body roll. either jack up the hub carrier until they meet or jack both sides at once.

Can't see why you'd need to do this. Ignoring any change of spring rate, what you're doing is changing the rest position relative to the ends of the suspension travel. As suggested, if you're doing one corner at a time you're increasing the load on the one side, and pulling the other that you're looking at onto full droop travel, so effectively applying a big roll to the ARB (which is a torsion bar spring).

what manufacturer are the coilovers from??

iirc if you have the H&R coilies you need the H&R anti roll bar too
