Getting Power To Active Sub - Fusebox or Cable From Battery?

Featured Replies

Hello Y'all,

Me again.

I'm looking to install a Pioneer TS-WX11A either under a seat (doesn't exactly fit perfect but may do) or, based on advice from a previous thread putting it in the passenger footwell or in the boot.

Can this little active sub be powered from a spare location on the fuse box? On the power cable supplied there is a male plug and I believe the manual said it could be done.

Also, how on earth do I get to the back of the fuse box?

Chris

Hi.As long as the fuse rating is high enough and the wiring can take the load it should be ok.I would put a fused connection straight to the battery. The earth dosent need to go to the battery just find a good earth( seat bolt or something like) thats close to the sub.
