What on earth is it? (Furby vRS)

Featured Replies

Took my first look underneath my new Furby today. Amazed at how much of it is covered in black plastic sheeting. Puzzled to find mounted on the offside floor (approx under the driver's footwell) some kind of alloy heat-sink or raditator mounted flat against the body floor. It was about 18" x 9" and still warm. I haven't the faintest idea what it is or what it does. Fuel cooler? Heat sink for ECU? (surely not). Ideas on a postcard...

Yeah its a fuel cooler for the return line back to the tank.

Needs it or the hot fuel being returned distorts the plastic fuel tank.

Fuel cooler is shown in the top pic

Thanks Ross. Does the training manual also have a description of the Pumpe Duse system? Most of the info I've read is pretty thin on detail...
