alternate octavia cd changer

Featured Replies

hello,

i have an octavia II with factory mfd2 and boot cd changer. I was wondering if it were possible to replace the changer to one that held more cds and could play mp3 encoded tracks. Also it would be great if the mfd2 display could show album/track information rather than play guess-what-put-which-changer-slot-several weeks ago...

any suggestions?

unfortunatly not

How about a Phatbox?

20gb of MP3.

My latest project:

Install an MP3 player with an A/V output (usually 640x480) and have the MFD2 screen replicate the Mp3 player's screen.

The MP3 player in question is a creative Zen Vision M 60Gb.

I already have the MFD2 A/V adaptor and all I require is the TV-free adaptor that Stu pointed out (cheers!) and an ample supply of noise suppressors. Then I will be able to see all album/track info on the sat nav unit without having to look down to the jumbo box to choose a track.

It also conveniently plays movies which is nice :P
