Engine light came on with car, friend had VAG he came round and the system reported this

17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)

before i book into garage can somebody advice me on what it is meaning, the car seems to be running fine, fuel as normal, turbo as normal,

Check the Dump Valve, and all other intake pipework between the turbo and throttle body for leakage before doing anything else.

17705 - More than likely to be the rubbe rhose than joins the metal tube in the driver's side front wheel arch to the turbo inlet. They revised this item to one with a different seal arrangment at the top.

A search on 17705 error codes will reveal the part number.

I had the same problem over the past fwe weeks, and i replaced that pipe on wednesday.

Problem gone ! :thumbup:
