Becker CD changer

I've finally stopped messing around and bought a Becker Mexico Pro 7936 (yes the amber display but it was cheap). I'll lose the use of the Skoda CD changer in the boot, but was wondering about a couple of things.

1. Would the existing cabling for the standard Skoda setup allow a Becker CD changer to be used?

2. Would a 2nd hand unit from a Porsche/Ferrari work as they seem to be the recommended compatible models for the 7936 i.e Silverstone 2630, 2660, 7860 (taken from 'caraudiosecurity.com'). There are a few advertised on ebay and thought I could save myself a few bob.

Now I am expecting the answers to be both 'No', but you can always live in hope.
