Windscreen v Dash

Featured Replies

Just given a replacement front screen (Octavia II) a good clean with meths then Autoglym Glass Polish. Happy with the general result BUT - - - - -

I would appreciate advice on how to end up with a clean inside screen and a clean dashboard. I have cleaned the extreme bottom of the inside using a fine cloth on a paintbrush to reach the edge. That put polish on the dash in the deep V between dash and screen! Another brush, this time with a little detergent on it seemed to remove the white polish residue but now that it has been rinsed and dried I still have a faint white mark or two on the dash and water marks on the screen.

Is there a way to get both parts clean or should I just let a big pile of dust and flies accumulate in that damn V.

I feel your pain...

Smooth peanut butter works for me in removing the white marks left by Autoglym Glass Polish. Then rinse and let try. White marks should be gone.

Dress the dashboard with Poorboys Natural Look dressing... sorted!
