I am Fraz from Fife In Scotland and I am no spring chicken, and to be honest and I don't actually own a Skoda (sorry) I won't even bother with what I drive as no doubt get slagged off:)

Was a motor mechanic many years ago (Lancia mostly) so know my way round a car and often get my hands dirty

But I did buy one for my Daughter a Fabia comfort 2002 1.4

I am going to have to have a look round for a few answers to a wee problem, unless someone can point me in the right direction

yesterday the hub nut on the NSF came off and TBh I have never seen anything like this hub nut before. Its like a multi face outer edge. I had no idea how to tighten it up ....My grandson is in this car along with my daughter so until I know how to fix it, car is grounded (daughter not too happy )

also while I had the wheel off, I noticed the anti roll bar is obviously fouling the engine mount as its nice a shiny on there .

anyway don't want to go into too much detail on here

Hopefully I can find the answers myself using the search function

You'll find plenty of info on the Anti Roll bar and I may be wrong but I think if you order a new hubnut it will be a revised version and of a more traditional design.
