brake fluid change???

Featured Replies

left the car in the other day for a service with clock reading 27000 kms or so ...

got a phone call from dealer to say brake fluid needed to be changed...

so as per usual what the baby needs the baby gets ..

why does fluid need changing at such low kilometres???

replaced lost key also , pricey at 220euro incl programming

so tatol spend this week is a couple of euro short of 1000 cause road tax was up also!!

saturday starts spend for next week and its off to fit 50/50 dv by forge and collect and fit new brake discs and pads x 4

watch this space

Brake fluid is changed based on the age of the car not the mileage as it absorbs moisture over time and becomes less effective, i think its recommended to change it every 2 years (someone correct me if i'm wrong)

Correct, the change is every 2 years regardless of how far the car is driven.
