well the bumper issue is raised again

Featured Replies

Remember my problem with the cracked bumper? Well today I looked at my vRS from the front, and after seeing another one I thought hang on that doesn't look right. The underneath of the bumper was hanging low. So I had a closer look and the two clips that connect the bumper to the car (the ones you can see through the lower grill) had a split at the top, and the bumper had fell down i.e no support. I am not impressed as the Dealer has not picked this up as they were supposed to be having a look the bumper. So I popped the grill out and refitted the clamps. Question is how do I approach the dealer about this? As I reckon the bumper coming away from the chassis has put stress on the rest of it (there are some cracks at the back too) I have definately not hit anything as there are no impact marks and I would have felt a thud if I had. Not a happy bunny :thumbdwn:

bumpers are 150 non painted... on a 3 yr old car would doubt a dealer would take much of an interest...... if you do go for a new one.. will give you 50 for the old one...;)
