Well it looks like my stereo has packed in :(

It doesn't switch off when you take out the keys :( which has been ongoing for a few months now.

Now the display reads PHONE when keys in and out, I can't play a cd or listen to the radio, I can use the treb/bass control and the balance control.

Has any one had this messages on the display before and might no how to fix for the now ??

mine packed in last week but it was only the cd player that wasnt working.... any excuse to ditch the symphony......

The keys one is easy and a common problem, check your fuses and I think you will find one of them has blown. The blown fuse will be the switched supply, so the radio does not know you have turned off and removed the keys. disconnecting, wait a min or two and then reconnecting the ISO connection from the rear of the HU should clear the phone fault.

Thanks for that mannyo but i think it's time to get it booked onto the garage :eek: i still have the warranty on it and also it likes to jump channels :(
