Featured Replies

just messing on YouTube and found this german advert.....

YouTube - Skoda Octavia RS

what i can work out is how the Vrs does the handbrake turn and stays in perfect frame? There doesnt seem to be connection between teh camera and the car..... how is it done?

However it's done.... as the tagline says: "Simply Clever"

Aye, now I look a bit closer I notice the back wheels arent turning! bit of a giveaway!:doh:

Yes; the rear wheels are 'locked up'. Could the rear of the car be fitted with shopping trolly type castor wheels - the rears remain locked even when the car is rolling backwards.

As for how do they keep the car 'in frame' - no idea!

The line just before the footage of the car starts translates (correct me if I'm wrong);

"200PS where you wouldn't expect it"

a genius strap line, I guess this advert wouldn't be allowed in the UK under ASA rules. Shame.
