climatronic temp control flap

Featured Replies

Fixed my Superb climatronic temp control flap by fitting a second hand V68 motor which I got from a scrap Audi A4 for £10. With the glove box removed, you can see the motor with its red cap. Its a bit fiddly getting access to the screws, but you can use a small spanner or a home made tool to loosen them. People have talked about having to reset the motor with a VAG COM, but I found it simply moved to the setting of the previous one. Maybe I was lucky. Anyway, it saved around £250 on the price of a new motor fitted by the dealer. Thanks to all whose advice helped me to get this fixed.

good news! thast what i like about these forums, getting stuff fixed without getting stiffed at the main stealers service dept ;)
