Hello folks,

I'm Jon, I bought my 51 plate Octavia 1.8T 4x4 from FR Pulleyn (now Martyn Beever), York in 2005. I found this forum when I was looking for Martyn Beever's phone number and since I do love my car and I am insanely proud of being a Skoda driver I thought I'd sign up.

Firstly I have to say that I adore this car, its deceptively quick and holds the road beautifully. After the ignominy of driving a 1.6 escort (boo) for 3 years the Octavia has been like a breath of fresh air.

Despite the fact I love this car I am thinking about replacing it. There are a few June 07 registered 2.0 FSI 4x4s dotted around the country so I am going to test drive one in the next few weeks. Does anyone have one of these? What do people think?
