rear lamp problem

Hi

I have a problem with the rear lamps of my Fabia. Specifically, there are dead insects inside them. :mad: Not sure how these got there, but there it is.

My question is how do I get them out? Are the lamp units completely sealed, with only openings at the back for the bulb, or can they be opened?

If I have to remove the lamp units to shake the beasts out, how do I go about this?

Any suggestions most welcome
