Hello, So Ive just bought my 1st car from this stable/group & 1st diesel-a SKODA OCTAVIA H/B Elegance 1.9TDi with a 53 plate. Still reading the book and twiddling the controls, but the drive feels good.

I want to have fitted a towbar with twin electrics, but I have parking sensors, so do I need detachable? what happens tp the sensors when towing?

How can I get info on the big screen in the cockpit? Are there any querks in driving a diesel?

Hoefully after this initial question time I will proceed to enjoy the car.

My answer to your interesting query concerning parking

sensors is .....I think the sensors are activated only when reversing

so should pose no problem. (I think).
