Emails - how to adjust margins pls?

Featured Replies

I changed settings on my printer to get a website to show full width properly and ever since then I have only 0.5cm margins either side of my emails, plus it drops a couple of letters from the left hand side of each line.

I changed the printer settings back and it's OK in Word and other sites, but seems to have messed up my emails. It's IE6 on that one and can't see any options re this.

Thanks ever so. Spent ages to no avail so grateful for any ideas.

File > Page Setup on the IE toolbar not help you, then Mo? Not got Outlook Express to be able to provide any pointers on that front, I'm afraid...

Should just be a matter of going to File->Page Setup and then adjusting the margins there.

However...if it works fine for other sites and it's just webmail that's the problem, *and* it's losing characters from the left (rather than the right), it might be something to do with a stylesheet on the mail website...

 How silly of me - Outlook Express indeed! :D

Sorry, should have said that changing the File/page set up on IE6 seems to have no effect on Outlook Express, and I can't see a similar option anywhere on that.

How might I get to a style sheet setting please?

Actually, I've just checked and have a system restore point not too many days back. If there's no apparent way to change the margins, I'll try sys res later tonight.

Many thanks

Mo

Just to report back that changing the page setup in IE6 did the trick, as apparently that affects Outlook Express as well.

Despite what I said previously, it might be that I didn't save the changes I made, or maybe I just changed the printer settings and not IE6. Anyway, changing IE6 worked, so all OK now.

Thanks for help :)

Mo
