This week I have mostly seen....

After a week at my sister's house in the south of France I have seen a couple of things that I felt I should tell you.

Firstly, the French love these,

Absolutely terrible cars, but they were all over the place. It seems that the French love a bargain as much as the next person, but quality and safety take a back seat when it comes to saving a few Euros.

Secondly (and these aren't my pictures) I saw on a few occasions this...

There is a BMW testing place near my sister's house and half disguised Beemers go through the village on a daily basis. I didn't have my camera each time I saw one, but the SUV Coupe was massive and very imposing and not really disguised at all as in the second of the pictures.

Also, each day a couple of Seven series BMWs went past with the most bizarre sounding engines. They were pretty much the same distance apart all the way through the village, with complex looking electronics & cameras fixed inside and out of the cars. Some days, they had the black disguise on, some days not.

Interestingly, the locals didn't bat an eye at any of it.
