Just been reading up on this and am slightly confused. If I buy an adaptor from halfords (any idea which one for a 01 octavia vrs?)... do I need to do anything bar plug it in?

I've read a thread that states you'd still have to mess around with changing wires around??

Anyone done this! Planning on doing this tonight....

Look in the other thread you started. You shouldn't need an adaptor.

yep no adaptor needed, even if your harness doesn't have bullet connectors you can remove the metal pins from the iso connector with thin needle nose pliers and swap them over, red and yellow need swapped, these are pins 4 and 7 i think(marked on the plastic part of the plug)
