This won't go right? A PC133 ram stick into a pentium 3 PC which currently only has a pc100 128mb ram stick? I can't remember which way is and is not compatible.

One thing to watch out for is the CAS latency setting, most PC133 runs at higher CAS (usually 3 vs 2.5 or 2) - so you may have to force the latency to that value to get it stable.

Pot luck though, some mobos work fine, others dont, without manually setting this.

Turns out the above might be true as it's not working. Any chance of a guide of how to fiddle with this setting please?
