Bluetooth Carkit installation - Fabia

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I'm planning on installing a bluetooth carkit, but am a bit puzzled on how to do all the wiring. I can remove the car stereo but I need space behind and around it to hide all the cables and the electronics box.

I figured out how to remove the glove compartment box. I guess that's the first thing to do to have more space, but I don't know how to release the center console. Below the headunit, there is a credit card holder box that I don't know how to remove.

How do you experienced ICE installer guys handle that ? :)

Cheers guys

I have the Nokia kit in my Fabia, and the easiest way to connect it up is to rig the power cables though the radio (power, negative, ignition). My box is on the other side of the car in the drivers side of the dash.

The toot tray under the radio can only be removed once the radio is out, then all you need to do is give it a tug. The elegance slide out tray is a direct fit and looks nicer although there is less space behind.
