how old is my phone?

Featured Replies

Is there any way to tell? Its an n73

I just want to know if they sent me a refurb or new phone!

i was always told if it was a refurb they had to put a little QC sticker on the inside of the phone. maybe that was just carphonewarehouse though.

has it got the stupid nokia screen cover on it that has the words nokia n73 printed on there? when mine was new it had that. useless as a screen protector!

I take it they sent you a replacement? Otherwise did it not come in a box, sealed etc...

Is it this one?

it was a replacement, sticker on the front, old or used battery though, i dont want to sell it as a new phone and have someone shouting at me because its a refurb, I'm sure theres some way of telling how long the phone has been in action or how many calls its made?

type *#06# and put the IMEI into this site International Numbering Plans

Should give you a 'vague' date of issuance? Might be some help?

range date 2005

dont think thats it though

mine says

Around Q3 2005

but its a n95 and ive not had it that long!

Some older Nokias had a warranty menu ( *#92702689# ) Which gave you the date of manufacture. My N80 doesn't show the menu though, so I assume other N series are the same?
