Hi,

After just having to replace 4 tyres due to running them when under inflated, I was looking at type pressure monitoring.

I came across:-

Having previously tried something similar to:

Find Air Checker Aircheckers Tyre Pressure Monitors Guage on eBay within, Valve Caps, Car Wheels, Tyres Trims, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 17-Nov-07 18:04:00 GMT)

which proved to be as useful as a chocolate teapot. They are on 3 of our families cars - or they were - they have now been binned!

So I thought about a more sophisticated solution, hence the url above.

Does anyone have an experience of these, or a similar system?

Can the skoda system be retro-fitted?

whats wrong with going around the car on a sunday morning with a tyre pressure guage (couple of quid in tesco's) and check them? only a couple of minutes to do?

That's what I used to do. But now with 2 kids I just never get around to it!

Also, on a particularly bad week I can do about 2,000 miles! By which time I'll have ruined a set of tyres - again!
