Needed: Windows XP driver for TOMTOM GO 520T

Featured Replies

Like the heading says... I've come to work with my new TT but forgotten the CD - Doh! Without the driver thats supposed to be on the CD, its not recognised by my PC automatically, although the internal card is readable. I've searched online, can't find the driver...its not on the TT website either..

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks very much....

Do you not download and install the TomTom Home program and that has all the drivers etc for the device?

You'd think so but no... According to their website, it says the driver for Windows is on the CD only... And its at home.... :(

It normally uses the same driver as a USB storage device, rather than a specific Tom Tom device driver.

Try telling it to search in the \windows\system32 folder for a driver, when it fails to load automatically.
