Hi everybody

Featured Replies

Just joined the club so hi to you all :), unfortunately I have a (hopefully) small problem . The heating works in the car but the temperature needle does not move from the cold position. I have checked the wiring that goes onto the heat sensor which seems ok. Would this be a case of just replacing the sensor and if so is is an easy job. Thanks for any help.

the vehicle is an S reg 1998 Felicia GLi 1289cc

Hello and welcome to Briskoda.

Hi and welcome:thumbup:

If the temp gague doesn't move at all, not even when idling in city queues, it's probably the sensor, as you've already guessed.

Otherwise it could be that you haven't joined only the large bunch of happy Felicia owners but also the (nearly as large) bunch of Felicia owners that have had a faulty thermostat. Check the Felicia support section and search threads.

Not a difficult job either way. Good luck and keep us posted!

Welcome :)
