Just to update you

replaced both lambda sensors at garage, still poor idle,

they said need new throttle body.

To which I said can’t it be cleaned, as I read on a forum it’s a common fault and a clean usually fixes it.

But the mechanic continues to say he will price up a new throttle body and let me know how much and see if I wanted them to get it and fit it.

To my surprise the next day when I got the call, they told me car was ready and all that was needed was to clean the throttle body.

I got the feeling they didn’t know they could clean it.

So thanks to this forum I was able to suggest to them about cleaning the throttle body and save me about £300.

thank you all

The car is now running better than when I first got it
