Hey up guys

Finally started to bite the bullet and begin playing with my Octy II vRS!

Looking at the following items on the shopping list... any thoughts or suggestions about any of them would be appreciated, cheers

1) Revo Performance Software (Stage 1) With SPS

2) Carbino Intake - only pondering this, what are they like?

3) Eibach Pro Springs

4) ARB from Awesome GTi (Don't know what make it is)

5) Neuspeed Short Shifter

Any suggestions on ventilated discs... will they work with the OEM Calipers/Pads etc?

Any other essential modifications that I missed off - like do I really need an adjustable BOV?

It's about time you took the plunge.

1) DO IT

2) They look nice, but an EVOMS would be better for performance.

3) No experience with them but have heard good reports.

4) Greatly reduced body roll, but I don't feel the need for one.

5) Supposed to be a nice little mod.

Your car already has ventilated discs...

If you mean drilled/grooved then yeah they'll be fine.

You don't need a BOV its purely for noise, one which personally I like. You'd be better off putting the money towards a Forge Diverter Valve instead.

Would them mods not void your warranty mate?

Only for the parts that you change... I.e if you change the suspension and your wing mirror needs replacing that's not a problem - whereas if the suspension starts ceaking... UNLUCKY!! :P

Just planning for a little jaunt to the 'ring this year

If you're planning a trip to the ring, maybe worth adding a set of super-sticky tyres to your list too.....
